Larry Nelson is a graduate of Simon Fraser University and a Chartered Professional Accountant. Over the course of his career, he has held leadership roles across diverse sectors. He began as an audit manager with a prominent public accounting firm before serving as a senior financial officer in a major British Columbia–based forest products company. He later founded his own public accounting practice and went on to become CEO of a leading non-profit society that provided care and accommodation for 2,000 seniors across multiple facilities in BC. Additionally, he established a nationally recognized executive search firm.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Larry has been deeply engaged in public service and governance. He served three terms as an elected School Trustee for the District of Coquitlam and has been a board member and chair of several local and national not–for–profit organizations. He also held the role of president at the Terminal City Club in Vancouver.
He is currently the president of Bayshore Consulting Inc., where he provides management consulting, business advisory services, board governance expertise, and executive coaching.
